Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Metanet AG in Switzerland. When you visit, the web server stores technically necessary access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for operation and security.

Contact form

If you use the contact form we process your name, email address, optionally your phone number, and your message, solely to answer your enquiry. The enquiry is delivered by email via our email provider Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland). To prevent misuse, your IP address is stored in encrypted form (hash) for no more than 24 hours. To prevent misuse, when you submit the contact form we store an encrypted, non-reversible value derived from your IP address for no more than one hour.

Cookies, tracking and fonts

This website sets cookies only for visitor statistics with Matomo on our own server (see «Visitor statistics with Matomo»). We do not use third-party services. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties when you visit.

Visitor statistics with Matomo

We analyse the use of this website with Matomo, open-source software on our own server (piwik.espressoklinik.ch). It records the pages viewed, time, referring page, browser, operating system, screen size and the shortened IP address, which does not allow you to be identified. Matomo sets cookies to recognise returning visits: _pk_id (13 months), _pk_ses (30 minutes) and _pk_ref (6 months, origin of the visit). We store your choice in the cookies ek_stat, mtm_cookie_consent or mtm_consent_removed. For visitors from the EU, the EEA and the United Kingdom we only set these cookies after their consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); without consent we count without cookies. For visits from Switzerland we rely on our legitimate interest in a well-functioning website. The data stays on our server and is not passed on to third parties. You can object to the statistics or withdraw your consent at any time:

Rental calculator

The rental calculator runs in your browser, without cookies. We only count anonymously how often it is used, without IP address or other personal data.

Anonymous counting

We count anonymously how often the rental calculator is used and the contact form is submitted, and from which advertising campaign (UTM parameters in the address) a visit comes. No cookies are set and no personal data is stored for this count.

Travel calculation

The postcode you enter is sent to our server and compared there with our own table. No data is passed on to third parties.

Result by e-mail

If you have the result sent to you, we use your e-mail address to send it and to contact you about your enquiry.

Quote request

For a rental or rent-to-own enquiry we use company, contact person, address, e-mail and phone for the quote, the credit check and to contact you.

Disclosure

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to the provider used for sending e-mails. You only receive newsletters with separate consent.

Links to other websites

Links to external websites (e.g. our partner roaster) only connect you to that provider once you click them.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you may request access, correction and deletion of your data. Write to info@espressoklinik.ch.
